A leading retail company is seeking a Flagship Profit Protection Manager to maximize profitability by safeguarding assets including personnel, buildings, stock, and costs. Responsibilities

  • Maintain a highly visible role in designated stores.
  • Stay informed about local criminal offenders.
  • Attend local crime briefings and partnership meetings to share intelligence.
  • Vigilantly observe the shop floor for theft or suspected theft.
  • Challenge and process shoplifters following company procedures.
  • Operate and maintain knowledge of company CCTV systems.
  • Report incidents via the company’s incident reporting platform.
  • Manage security-related maintenance works in store.
  • Maintain a sterile and GDPR-compliant CCTV/control room environment.
  • Lead incident management in stores.
  • Provide data analysis on shrinkage and present findings to management.
  • Supervise, train, and mentor external security guards and liaise with third-party security teams.
  • Manage guarding schedules and maintain accurate time logs.
  • Review and update access control systems to protect assets and staff safety.
  • Conduct security and operational compliance checks and provide feedback.
  • Support and train staff on profit protection and operational issues.
  • Identify and address compliance and operational failures, providing retraining as needed.
  • Assist with risk assessments during store launch events.
  • Analyze store shrinkage and develop projects to reduce loss.
  • Report daily to management on profit protection issues.
  • Ensure protection of company property and recommend improvements.
  • Stay updated on criminal law and HR guidelines relevant to the role.
  • Ensure store compliance with procedures and provide feedback.
  • Attend courts or tribunals and prepare necessary documentation.
  • Assist with CCTV system installations if required.
  • Provide security presence at VIP events and complete risk assessments.
  • Maintain security equipment and ensure its proper use.
  • Prioritize workload to meet deadlines for reports, investigations, and projects.
  • Coordinate with outside investigation agencies, including police.
  • Operate with discretion and confidentiality at all times.
  • Perform any other tasks assigned by the management team.
