Job summary

TipTopJob is seeking a General Manager for a flagship bar venue in Manchester. You will oversee standards, service delivery, retail concepts and health and safety, ensuring an exceptional guest experience in a fast-paced, lively environment with high volumes.

You will recruit and mentor the team, drive sales through local campaigns, lead from the front, and coordinate a busy events calendar to keep the venue busy year-round and aligned with the group strategy.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of management experience in bar/pub and food sector at GM level.
• Outgoing leader who engages with staff and customers, not a back-office manager.
• Experience driving sales through local lead generation campaigns is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Set and maintain standards, ensure quality service and health and safety compliance.
• Recruit, mentor and manage the on-site team and develop talent.
• Grow sales and revenue by delivering local campaigns and coordinating events.
• Drive activity when site opens and sustain a year-round busy operation.
