Job summary

We are currently recruiting in England to improve service delivery in our mainland UK projects. As a Fitter, you will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive maintenance and repairs on our equipment. We seek someone who takes pride in their work and can deliver excellent results for our customers.

What you'll do

  • Carry out repairs to all equipment, including fabrication if needed
  • Perform all aspects of servicing
  • Inspect various equipment, both company owned and externally hired
  • Follow COSHH and environmental regulations regarding oils, filters, batteries, spray canisters, etc.
  • Use IT to record, report, and sign off service records, ensuring proper filing for each piece of equipment

What you'll bring

  • Experience in a similar role
  • Qualification in Mechanical Fitting or demonstration of a time-served apprenticeship (e.g., NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds)
  • Full valid driving license
  • CSR or CPCS card or equivalent
  • Computer literacy, e.g., Microsoft Office
