FK Lowry (part of the Lagan Specialist Contracting Group) is recruiting Piling Operatives, including Rig Drivers, Banksmen, and Concrete Pump Operators.

Job Type: Full-time - Permanent

Location: Northern Ireland, with travel to UK/Ireland when required.

Role Overview: To work within individual piling units to install driven or bored foundations for the construction industry.

Responsibilities:

• Control movements of piling rigs and associated plant on site.
• Coordinate and direct deliveries of materials on site.
• Assist with site setup and clearance of plant and materials from site.

Key Relationships:

• Maintain good relations with work supervisors and fellow operatives.

Main Challenges:

• Completing projects on time.
• Adhering to health and safety procedures, especially under pressure.
• Managing extended periods away from home.

Essential Criteria:

• Basic knowledge of health and safety issues or skills training.
• Effective communication skills, both written and oral.
• Understanding of plans.
• CSCS or CSR Card.
• Experience as slinger banksman or concrete pump operator.
• Ability to work away from home in the UK and ROI.

Desirable Criteria:

• CFA or Rotary Piling experience.
• Experience driving or banking rigs.
• Relevant training cards (training provided if needed).
• Experience or knowledge of construction sites.

All training will be provided for this role.
