Job summary

A well-respected electrical compliance company is seeking a Fixed Wire Electrical Tester in the Reading area. Responsibilities include conducting fixed wire electrical testing in commercial properties, along with PAT testing as needed. The ideal candidate must have the 18th edition, electrical 2391 testing certification, and strong customer service skills. Qualifications

• Must live in or around the Reading area or be within travelling distance.
• Capable of passing a DBS check.

Responsibilities

• Perform fixed wire electrical testing in commercial properties.
• Conduct PAT testing and emergency lighting tests if experienced.
• Work in offices, commercial buildings, and supermarkets.

My client is a very well respected electrical compliance and testing company that has been established for well over 40 years. They cover all over the UK and can claim a lot of very well known companies and organisations as customers. They pride themselves on their engineers\' skills as well as always being one step ahead of the ever changing electrical regulations. They are NICEIC, CHAS, Safe Contractor and BAFE compliant and take their service very seriously to make sure their clients always come back in the future.

Position

• Fixed wire electrical tester – doing fixed wire electrical circuit testing in commercial properties
• Also doing some PAT testing and emergency lighting tests if you have the experience
• Covering around the Reading area with some work being further in Berkshire
• Working in offices, commercial buildings and supermarkets

Skills / experience

• Living anywhere in or around the Reading area or within travelling distance
• 18th edition needed as well as your electrical 2391 testing certificate or equivalent
• Having your AM2 certificate or NVQ Level 3 equivalent would be very beneficial
• Great customer services skills for when you are on site
• Be able to pass a DBS check
