Full-time or part-timeHours: 40 hours per week, 4 days a week (8.30am-6.30pm) and minimal out-of-hours work.We are excited to announce an opportunity for a veterinary surgeon to join our dedicated team at Avonvale on a 12-month fixed-term basis to cover maternity leave. This position offers the chance to work across multiple clinics, with some weekends included, and we happily welcome both full-time and part-time applications.
We have an experienced team of 30 vets including those holding certificates in medicine, soft tissue and orthopaedic surgery, dermatology, feline medicine, ophthalmology, and diagnostic imaging who are always happy to offer support.
We are proud to be able to offer our clients 24-hour care and have our own team of night vets operating from our hospital. We are also lucky to have our own CT, digital x-ray, ultrasound, laparoscopy, and hydrotherapy unit in addition to all the usual kit.
We are a very close-knit team who look after each other. We prioritise the wellbeing of our teams and also enjoy multiple team events each year, a highlight being Annie the Ice Cream vans visits.

About usWe have 7 RCVS accredited surgeries and a central hospital in Warwick.
We have many vets with a variety of interests including orthopaedics, acupuncture, laparoscopy, cardiology, imaging, feline medicine, ophthalmology, dermatology, soft tissue surgery, and chronic pain management. We encourage our nurses to do further study and have nurses who completed emergency and critical care, anaesthesia, wound management, and behaviour courses and nurses who run our hydrotherapy unit. We are also happy to support certificate study if desired.
