Job summary

Ben Rhydding Primary School in Ilkley is seeking a fixed-term Teaching Assistant to support pupils with emotional and SEND needs, starting October/November 2026. The role is 32.5 hours per week during term time, with lunchtime duty.

The governing body of our school are seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to work at our caring, inclusive and enriching school. The position is Fixed Term and is tied to specific SEND funding for pupils at the school.

The successful candidate will:

• Have a good team ethic and interpersonal skills
• Experience of working to support pupils with emotional and SEND needs
• Have high expectations of pupils
• Have determination to help deliver outstanding and inclusive learning for all pupils
