Capel Manor College is seeking a Student Recruitment Officer on a fixed-term basis through 31 July 2028. The role focuses on engaging adults seeking training, retraining or employment support, building partnerships with community organisations and referral agencies across London, and promoting the college’s Skills Development and London Talent Pathways programmes.

This exciting fixed-term opportunity is funded through the Greater London Authority's London Talent Pathways Programme, a flagship initiative helping Londoners develop the skills needed for careers in the capital's growing green economy.
As Student Recruitment Officer, you will play a vital role in changing lives by engaging with adults who may be unemployed, looking to retrain or facing barriers to employment to help them access funded training, gain valuable skills and progress into sustainable employment. You will do this through developing relationships with community organisations, JobCentre Plus, employers, local authorities, housing associations, charities and referral agencies to promote and raise awareness of Capel Manor College's Skills Development and London Talent Pathways programmes for adult learners across London. You will represent the College at recruitment events, employment and career's fairs and community events across London delivering engaging recruitment presentations, information sessions and workshops to promote opportunities for learners.
The ideal candidate will have experience of learner recruitment, business development or will have sales and marketing experience. They will have an understanding of the needs of adult learners from diverse backgrounds and will be able to deliver presentations, workshops or information sessions. They will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and will be comfortable working towards recruitment, sales and performance targets.
