Fixed Term Locum Specialty Doctor Urology (1 x 12 months)

University Hospital Monklands - NHS Lanarkshire

Urology Job Purpose Speciality Doctor The NHSL urology service is centrally managed at University Hospital Monklands (UHM) with in patient services and main theatres in UHM and out patient services. This post is within a busy unit of 9 Consultants and 12 middle grade Doctors. The applicants are expected to have knowledge and experience in urology already and be looking to join this busy unit to develop their own practice within the specialty. The aim of this role is to help set up a new diagnostic hub to provide services for prostate cancer diagnosis and haematuria investigations. On call activity and level is negotiable depending on experience and the options include an SHO level on call joint with General Surgery or Urology Middle Grade/Registrar level on call, depending on experience.
