Job summary

Birchfield Community Primary School is seeking a KS2 Teacher (Year 4) on a fixed term basis to start January 2027. The post will cover maternity leave for two terms. We welcome both full-time and part-time applicants.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of highly effective teaching, be engaging and creative, and work well with the current Year 4 team. Salary will depend on experience and be aligned with the Primary Curriculum expectations.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside the existing Year 4 teacher to cover maternity leave.
• Plan and deliver high-quality lessons for KS2 students.
