Job summary

Brose Group is seeking a driven engineer to collect and analyse production, quality and engineering data. You will prepare reports and dashboards to communicate findings and support decisions.

The role involves driving process improvements, root-cause investigations, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver on-time actions while maintaining quality standards. The successful candidate will hold an engineering degree, display strong numerical and communication skills, and apply Lean/Six Sigma

Qualifications

  • Degree in Engineering or related field with analytical capability.
  • Experience handling and interpreting data with numerical accuracy.
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, CI or Six Sigma principles.
  • Experience with engineering drawings, technical docs and quality tools.

Responsibilities

  • Collect, organise and analyse production, quality and engineering data to support decisions.

  • Support projects to improve processes, quality, efficiency and costs.
  • Assist with root-cause investigations using structured methodologies.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives in production and engineering.
  • Develop and maintain engineering documentation and process instructions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to monitor progress and deadlines.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental and quality policies.

Your Tasks
  • Collect, organise and analyse production, quality and engineering data to support business decision-making.
  • Prepare reports, dashboards and presentations to communicate findings and project updates.
  • Support engineering projects aimed at improving manufacturing processes, product quality, efficiency and cost performance.
  • Assist with root cause investigations and problem-solving activities using structured engineering methodologies.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives within production and engineering departments.
  • Support the development and maintenance of engineering documentation, process instructions and technical records.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to monitor project progress and ensure actions are completed on time.
  • Comply with policies and procedures of company, e.g. health and safety, environmental, quality,equal opportunity.
  • Assist engineers in conducting trials, studies and process evaluations on the manufacturing floor.
  • Support customer-focused activities where required, ensuring compliance with automotive quality and manufacturing standards.
Your Profile
  • Completed a degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related discipline.
  • Good numerical ability with experience handling and interpreting data.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Understanding of Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement or Six Sigma principles.
  • Able to operate flexibly and independently within the required deadlines.
  • Experience with engineering drawings and technical documentation and quality tools and problem-solving techniques.
