An international automotive company based in Bracknell is seeking an HR Generalist for a 16-month fixed-term contract. You will support HR operations and be involved in various employee relations activities while ensuring compliance with UK Employment Law. The role offers flexibility with the option to work from home two days per week. Ideal candidates have significant HR experience and CIPD Level 5 qualifications.

At Honda we embrace inclusion in our various policies, so whilst our contracts state that the hours are as required to fulfil the role with a minimum of 35 hours per week, we offer flexibility for when you work. The regular office hours are 08:00 – 16:00 Monday to Thursday with a half hour lunch break & 08:00 – 13:00 on a Friday. However, we offer flexibility of when you work with our daily flex-time start of between 07:00 and 11:00 providing that there is no business requirement.
Whilst there is no contractual right to work from home, the flexibility we offer is that you can request to work from home 2 days per week, again providing there is no business requirement to attend the office.
Role:
This is a fixed term contract for 16 months, for a maternity cover.
Reporting to the HR & Administration Department Manager, this role will be responsible for providing a professional generalist Human Resources service to Honda Motor Europe Head Office, the UK Sales Branch and Honda Financial Services, all located at our Bracknell Office.
The role will be involved in all aspects of HR Operations delivery with a key focus on partnering with the business on Associate Relations.
Whilst this is a UK based role, as the European Head Office, this role supports with Pan European activities and will be part of project groups for wider HR projects across the region.
