This is a full time (10 PA) Consultant Neurologist appointment for the United Lincolnshire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust.
This is a shared post between ULTH and Nottingham University Hospital based primarily at Grantham & District Hospital this post will provide clinics at both Grantham, NUH and Lincoln Hospital and ward referrals respectively.
The Neurology service is managed within the Trust wide Specialty Medicine Business Unit within the Medicine Division. The Business Unit is headed by a Clinical Director, supported by a General Manager and Clinical Services Manager.
The funded Consultant establishment is 4.00 wte Consultants employed by United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust (ULHT), supported by a further 0.6 wte Consultants, that visits from Sheffield.
The service is managed from Lincoln on a hub and spoke basis, providing outpatient and ward referral service to the three main hospital sites, Lincoln, Boston & Grantham.
The Department has a Consultant Nurse Specialist for Multiple Sclerosis and Epilepsy specialist Nurses providing follow up care and support for MS and Epilepsy patients.
