Applications are invited for 2 full-time posts for Interventional Consultants in Radiology, with an interest in General Radiology for United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust (ULHT). These posts aim to support and expand the existing interventional radiology services.
We seek dynamic colleagues with enthusiasm and leadership qualities. ULH is an Acute Hospital Trust in the East Midlands providing comprehensive acute services to Lincolnshire, committed to healthcare excellence.
Main duties of the job
The appointee will provide a comprehensive radiology service to ULHT, collaborating with colleagues to deliver high standards.
Reporting services will be provided from a base to be agreed, with potential work across other sites within the trust as required.
The role may be flexible depending on workload, with teamwork being essential.
The post holder will support and work closely with the Clinical Director, Radiology Head of Service, Lead Nurse, and Radiology Operational Managers.
About us
Employment terms will follow the Trust's policies, aligned with NHS and UK regulations. Salary will be at least equal to NHS Consultant pay scales. The appointee will cover colleagues' absences based on mutual agreement, with six weeks' notice for leave to ensure service continuity.

The appointee must have medical clearance arranged by the Trust before starting.
Candidates should reside within 10 miles of the main site, maintaining contactable private residence.
Relocation costs may be reimbursed per Trust policy.
The Trust is committed to health and safety under the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974, ensuring a safe environment for staff and visitors.
All staff must comply with Trust health and safety policies.
The candidate must be GMC registered, maintaining and expanding their clinical skills, attending educational meetings, and participating in the Trust's performance review and educational programs.
Responsibilities include providing clinical leadership, participating in audits, research, and departmental management, and supporting junior staff and multidisciplinary teams.

The referring services include a broad range of specialties such as Vascular Surgery, Oncology, Neurology, Orthopaedics, and more.
Applicants must hold the Fellowship of the Royal College of Radiologists or an equivalent qualification, be on the Specialist Register, or be within six months of CCT receipt at interview.
