Job summary

NHS Grampian is recruiting an experienced Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join the Frailty Service Expansion at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary. The post involves working with Senior OT and multidisciplinary teams across inpatient and community settings to assess and treat older adults living with frailty.

There is a rotation between Acute Sector and Aberdeen City Health and Social Care Partnership, with opportunities for CPD and regular supervision.

Qualifications

• Applicants must be registered with HCPC & hold a valid full UK Driving Licence.
• There may be a requirement to provide 7 day service cover to include weekends and Public Holiday to meet the service needs.
• Interviews will involve a practical element, therefore in person interviews only.

Responsibilities

• Assess and treat patients with a variety of conditions in inpatient and community settings across Aberdeen City.
• Work closely with Senior Occupational Therapists and multi-disciplinary/multi-agency teams.
• Support continuous personal development (CPD) with regular supervision and in-service opportunities.
• Contribute to the Frailty Service expansion and rotation between Acute Sector and Aberdeen City Health and Social Care Partnership.
