Job summary

Vodafone Group Plc in Newbury, United Kingdom is seeking a Fixed Probing & Analytics Engineer to design, deliver and evolve passive probing and analytics solutions for the UK fixed domain. You will define end-to-end architecture, ensure scalable data feeds, and support data-driven troubleshooting across network elements and interconnecting networks.

You will work with vendors, produce technical documentation (HLD/LLD), and drive delivery milestones while maintaining high quality and security

Qualifications

Engineering degree in telecommunications or computer science is required.
Customer oriented and result driven mentality is expected.
Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
Professional certification in the OSS domain is a plus.

Responsibilities

Lead the design and delivery of passive probing and analytics solutions for fixed in the UK.
Define and contribute to end-to-end system architecture (data generation, ingestion, processing, storage, reporting).
Ensure successful project delivery aligned with milestones, timelines, and quality expectations.
Produce and maintain key technical documentation (HLD, LLD, data models).
Design and evolve passive probing for fixed networks based on underlaying elements and traffic forecasts.
Deliver high-quality, scalable data feeds to analytics platforms supporting business use cases.
Support vendor evaluation processes and stakeholder management.
Contribute to strategy and continuous improvement of probing and analytics capabilities.
