We have an opportunity for a trade qualified Fixed Plant Mechanical Fitter to join our Asset Management team at Bell Bay Aluminium.

Reporting to the Crew Leader, you have a rare opportunity to join our day work Metal Products and Carbon Maintenance team. Our day work is structured as 4 X 10.5hr days working Monday to Thursday, giving you the opportunity to balance your work and other commitments.

What you’ll bring

Previous experience working within an industrial environment is highly regarded; however, to be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team

  • Trade qualification (Mechanical/Boilermaker)

  • Strong problem-solving capabilities

  • Current C class driver’s licence

  • Other Mechanical licenses would be an advantage (e.g., Rigging, Advanced hydraulics)
