Join J.P. Morgan Asset & Wealth Management, a global leader with $2.8 trillion in client assets, serving institutions, high-net-worth team members, and retail investors worldwide. Our division offers comprehensive investment management across all major asset classes and provides a range of services for team member investors. The Manager Solutions Team selects and monitors asset managers for Global Wealth Management clients, engaging with asset managers, internal investors, and clients. We are expanding in London and seek an Asset Class Leader to join our Fixed Income & Multi-Asset Manager Research team.

As a Fixed Income Manager Research Vice President within the Manager Solutions Team, you will be an integral team member promoting and executing the strategic business plan for the Fixed Income and Multi-Asset manager universe. You will research, help select, and monitor fixed income investment funds, and maintain and analyze data. You will proactively integrate within relevant investment universes to source new opportunities and comprehensively underwrite new investments. You will articulate the investment underwriting process to both external managers and investors, conveying knowledge and credibility.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Drive/execute a strategic business plan for Fixed Income and Multi Asset manager universe, including researching, helping select, and monitoring fixed income investment funds as well as data maintenance and analysis (both recurring and bespoke)
  • Assess relevant investment universes to source new opportunities
  • Underwrite new investments utilizing analytical skills drawn out of quantitative, qualitative, and interviewing skills to frame and present an investment thesis to senior management
  • Understand broad range of financial and investment principles including equity, credit, options, and risk management
  • Articulate investment underwriting process to both external managers and investors while conveying knowledge and credibility

Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills:

  • Experience within asset management or similar roles at leading Private Banks and Wealth Managers
  • Strong quantitative/analytical abilities as well as written/verbal presentation skills
  • Background in fixed income research, credit research, portfolio management, or sustainable investments / ESG preferred
  • Deep understanding of a broad range of financial and investment principles
  • Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to represent the Private Bank to both fund managers and clients

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills:

  • CFA or MBA
  • 5 years of practical, hands-on investment experience
