Fixed Income Financing SME - Product Analyst/Business Analyst

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Fixed Income Financing SME & Product Analyst to join a dynamic IT Fixed Income Product Team within our client, a leading financial institution. This critical role focuses on the Repo product suite and will be instrumental in the successful deployment of Triparty Repos and ongoing enhancements. You will take primary responsibility for supporting the expansion and integration of the Repo and Securities Borrowing & Lending (SBL) product life cycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the lead Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Repo enhancements and possess comprehensive knowledge of the full repo product suite, SBLs, and Secured Funding.
• Lead detailed analysis of Triparty Repo requirements.
• Liaise effectively with the Development team on technical specifications.
• Support the QA team with User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and engage with the Business for sign-off.
• Coordinate front-to-back project requirements, encompassing operations, collateral management, risk management, and settlement functions.
• Utilise your familiarity with settlement processing and SFTR requirements related to Repo transactions.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience working on a repo ION Anvil platform implementation or a similar Repo execution platform.
• Strong understanding of the Fixed Income business, financial markets, and the securities lending industry.
• Deep knowledge of trading financing transactions across GMRA, GMSLA, and TRS.
• Working knowledge and understanding of the Securities Lending business.
• Previous experience in a Middle Office or Front Office Fixed Income role is preferred.
• Experience operating as a Senior Business Analyst or Project Manager within an investment banking organisation.
• Demonstrated ability to create detailed business and technical requirements and specification documentation.
• Excellent communication skills, with experience handling communications at all levels, including senior stakeholders in a financial environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
