Job summary

Sage Group PLC is seeking a finance professional to join the Record to Report team within our European Finance Shared Service Centre. The role focuses on fixed asset accounting, accurate month-end reporting, and maintaining strong financial controls in a collaborative environment.

You'll work with performance reporting teams, prepare reconciliations and journals, support statutory accounts and audits, and participate in improvement projects.

Qualifications

• Experience in finance or shared services environment.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented and able to meet deadlines in a busy environment.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably Sage X3.
• AAT qualification or studying toward a professional accounting qualification is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage fixed asset accounting and capitalisation.
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations, supporting schedules, journal entries and month-end reporting.
• Collaborate with Performance Reporting teams and business partners to resolve queries.
• Support annual statutory accounts and audits.
• Participate in ad hoc finance projects and identify reporting improvements.
