Job summary

Lusona Consultancy are recruiting a Fixed Asset Accountant for the Glasgow office in a permanent role reporting to the Finance Manager. The position strengthens the balance sheet and owns the end-to-end fixed asset reporting cycle.

You will manage asset registers, depreciation, reconciliations, and liaise with tax colleagues, with exposure to multi-entity environments and large data sets.

Qualifications

• Part- or fully-qualified accountant with construction sector experience.
• Experience in fixed asset accounting and balance sheet management.
• Knowledge of FRS 102 and GAAP/IFRS for tangible assets and leases.

Responsibilities

• Develop fixed asset end-to-end process and ensure accuracy of reported numbers
• Manage asset register and investigate issues
• Run monthly depreciation and close process on ERP
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations for fixed assets
• Assist with regulatory & tax compliance including depreciation schedules
• Support external auditors with fixed asset schedules and roll-forward documentation
