Compressed Gases Fitter/Technician
£28,000 negotiable plus benefits
Mon - Friday (8:00 am to 4:30 pm Monday to Thursday and 4 pm finish on Friday)

Our client, a leading aviation company based in Stansted, is currently looking to recruit a Gas Cylinder Technician. They provide comprehensive training, career progression opportunities, and a strong team culture.

About the role

This role involves the repair, testing, and overhaul of valve and cylinder assemblies, including hydrostatic testing and high-pressure charging up to 4500 PSI.

Key responsibilities:

1. Strip down and rebuild valve assemblies
2. Inspect, clean, and replace defective components
3. Conduct hydrostatic testing per Department of Transport regulations
4. Charge completed assemblies up to 4500 PSI
5. Support the safety inflatable team when required

What we're looking for

Experience:

• Proven background in gas cylinder fitting - at least 2 years experience
• MRO experience is highly desirable
• Ability to follow detailed compliance manuals (Essential)
• Experience in the Avionics industry

Qualifications:

• GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths and English
