Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week

About the Role:
We are currently seeking an experienced Fitter/Mechanic to join our team based at our Cheam Depot. This is an essential role, responsible for the maintenance and servicing of our grounds maintenance machinery and equipment, ensuring it operates efficiently and reliably to support our day-to-day operations.

If you have a solid mechanical background, excellent diagnostic skills and enjoy keeping equipment in top working order, we would love to hear from you.

A driving license is essential

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and service a range of grounds maintenance machinery and related equipment
  • Diagnose and repair faults independently and efficiently
  • Ensure all equipment is safe, reliable and ready for operational use
  • Work collaboratively with the team and support smooth depot operations

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a grounds maintenance setting and servicing relevant machinery is highly desirable
  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills with the ability to work independently
  • A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and work as part of a team
  • Full UK driving licence

This role may also suit a mechanic or fitter with strong vehicle and machinery knowledge looking to move away from a busy commercial garage environment for a more stable and less hectic workplace.
