Job description

Our client is a high-end supplier of stone products seeking a fitter/installer's mate to assist in installing high-quality stone items in properties as part of a small team. This role may include fitting kitchen tops, stone flooring, and other products.

You should have a keen eye for detail, a willingness to learn and develop in the role. This position is ideal for a labourer or fitter's mate eager to learn, develop, and specialise.

Some experience with power and hand tools is essential.

Requirements:

• A driving licence with some experience driving long wheelbase vans.

Pay is GBP 12.50 per hour, with potential increases as new skills are acquired.

Working hours are Monday to Friday:

• Start at 08:00; finish around 5 pm, but flexibility to complete jobs as required is essential.
• Experience with grinders, saws, and silicone guns is required.
• A good level of fitness and ability to handle heavy work is necessary.
• Working to high-quality standards with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Some products are fragile and expensive; a careful approach is essential.
• Must be a team player and customer-facing, with a polite and friendly manner.
