Site Fitter / Installer / Construction Worker who can use manual hand tools and power tools preferably gained from either a construction/trades or engineering or similar background is required for a variety of interesting projects with a fast-growing engineering company.

MULTIPLE POSITIONS AVAILABLE

SALARY: Competitive + Benefits (Overtime and weekend work is available with competitive rates of pay)

LOCATION: The role will be primarily site-based, and a Full Driving License is essential

JOB TYPE: Full-Time, Permanent

WORKING HOURS: Monday to Friday

Due to the company’s growth, we have a fantastic new job opportunity for a hardworking and reliable Site Fitter / Installer / Construction Worker who can use manual hand tools and power tools preferably gained from either a construction/trades or engineering or similar background is required for a variety of interesting projects.

As the Site Fitter / Installer / Construction Worker you will join a company that works mainly with the water industry and specializes in providing complete mechanical engineering services from design and fabrication through to installation.

Working as the Site Fitter / Installer / Construction Worker you will be on client sites on a wide range of different projects from mechanical installations, installing steel structures, and handrails. Previous experience carrying out this type of work would be highly desirable, although not essential.

DUTIES

1. Performing mechanical installations on client sites
2. Installing steel structures as part of various projects
3. Fitting handrails according to project specifications
4. Utilising manual hand tools for various fitting and installation tasks
5. Operating power tools safely and effectively to complete work
6. Travelling to and working on client sites as required
7. Ensuring work is carried out to a high standard of quality and safety

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

1. Proven ability to use manual hand tools and power tools effectively
2. Ideally, experience gained from a background in construction, the trades, engineering, or a comparable sector
3. A strong work ethic and a reliable approach to tasks
4. A Full UK Driving Licence is essential due to the site-based nature of the role
5. While previous experience in similar mechanical installation work would be highly advantageous, it is not strictly necessary for the right candidate
