Job summary

Bridgestone is seeking enthusiastic Tyre Technicians for an on-site role in Ipswich. You will inspect customer fleets, identify tyre issues and perform fittings with training provided. The position offers 37.5 hours per week with weekends off and annual bonus potential.

Ideal candidates hold a Full UK driving licence, are punctual, reliable and eager to learn. Prior tyre fitting experience is preferred, but full training will be provided to develop expertise and ensure safe, quality service.

Responsibilities

• Regularly inspect customer fleets and identify, prioritise and rectify tyre issues promptly.
• Cover Ipswich and surrounding areas as required.
• Maintain safety, quality and efficiency while meeting targets.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Job Purpose

Our Tyre Technicians play an integral role in keeping our customers moving. Bridgestone is now seeking enthusiastic, determined individuals with a hunger to learn to join our team of Tyre Technicians. Reporting directly to the Regional Operations Supervisor, the Tyre Technician is responsible for regularly inspecting our customer fleets and identifying, prioritising and rectifying issues in a timely manner. You will cover Slough and surrounding areas.

Working hours are 37.5 hours (permanent) per week and this does not include weekends as we know how much you value your weekends! Technicians have the opportunity to choose their hours of work to suit them and the customer and best end good news, there is a commercial tyre fitting machine in all of the locations you will be covering.

What we need from you

• A Full UK driving authorisation
• Punctual and reliable

• An enthusiastic attitude and reliability
• Experience of working to tight timescales and targets
• Previous commercial tyre fitting experience
• Tyre fitting experience preferred, but not essential – full training will be provided
• The ability to use IT equipment (including laptop, tablet and mobile phone)
• The ability to prioritise a daily workload
