  • Experience within either a workshop or field based position is preferred.

The position is responsible for the assemble and installation of Hiab products within our workshops.

We're looking to find 3 people for this position. The role is based in Ellesmere, UK.

Main tasks and responsibilities

  • Installation of equipment to chassis
  • Maintaining a clean and orderly working area including common areas
  • Completing call job related paperwork in an accurate and timely manner
  • Carry out assigned tasks and duties in a safe manner, in accordance with instructions and in compliance with the company's safety rules / procedures and with regulations and codes of practice
  • Support the company’s efforts to reduce accidents / incidents by reporting unsafe actions or conditions and participating in Safety Walks, Safety Audits and 5S events etc. as require.

What you’ll need to succeed

Education:

  • Recognized engineering apprenticeship or similar technical qualification

Working experience:

  • Ideally some experience with workings of loader cranes, truck mounted forklifts, forestry cranes, demountables and skip loaders
  • Experience within either a workshop or field based positions
  • Good understanding of hydraulic, mechanical and electrical principles

Competence and skills:

  • The ability to work independently and under pressure
  • The ability to manage and prioritize workload
  • Able to work as a team, willing to pass on any technical knowledge to help other engineers
  • Quality driven for a right first time approach
