Job Opportunity: Assembler

Are you a multi-skilled individual seeking a challenging and varied role? Do you live within the Colchester area? If so, this could be a great opportunity for you!

This automotive manufacturing company near Colchester is offering a starting salary of approximately £14 per hour, with overtime available at increased rates. Core working hours are 07:30 to 16:30, Monday to Friday.

The role involves working as an assembler, ideally with experience in fitting environments such as shop fitting or coachbuilding. You will work with materials like wood, plastic, and metal to fabricate and convert products. Basic welding skills would also be advantageous.

To be considered, you should have experience with the following duties and possess your own transport:

• Using hand and power tools
• Assembling parts from drawings
• Fabricating various forms of metal
• Following health and safety policies

This is a multi-skilled role, so you will engage in various fabrication tasks, including upholstery, carpentry, and basic electrics. The position is permanent, subject to a successful 3-month probation period.
