Description

We are currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Site Fitter to join our installation team. This apprenticeship offers a fantastic opportunity for individuals interested in learning and developing practical skills in cabinetry installation, working alongside experienced professionals and gaining hands-on experience in a dynamic and rewarding environment.

Due to workload, it is essential that the applicant lives in Leyland or nearby, as this is where the fitting team is based.

1. Assist in Pre-Installation Preparation:

• Work closely with senior fitters and project managers to understand installation requirements and site conditions.
• Assist in the preparation and organisation of tools, equipment, and materials required for installation projects.

1. Cabinetry Installation:

• Learn and develop skills in the safe and accurate installation of custom-built cabinets, wardrobes, shelves, and other furniture pieces in residential and commercial properties.
• Assist in measuring, cutting, fitting, and securing cabinetry to ensure proper fit, alignment, and functionality.

1. Site Assessment and Problem-Solving:

• Assist in conducting site assessments to evaluate installation requirements, site conditions, and potential challenges.
• Work collaboratively with the installation team to develop solutions and overcome any issues encountered during installation.

1. Customer Interaction and Communication:

• Interact professionally with clients during installation projects, ensuring customer satisfaction and addressing questions or concerns.
• Provide updates and feedback to project managers and clients on installation progress, maintaining clear communication.

1. Maintain a Safe and Organised Worksite:

• Adhere to health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Keep worksites clean, organised, and hazard-free, with tools and materials stored safely.

1. Continuous Learning and Development:

• Participate in training to enhance installation skills, product knowledge, and industry practices.

• Live in Leyland or nearby, accessible to the installation site.
