Role Overview

As a Fitness Manager, you will oversee daily operations, lead and motivate your team, and ensure excellent member service. You will also support the development of our Group Exercise classes and contribute to the gym’s commercial success. You will act as a keyholder and support the General Manager in administrative tasks.

Responsibilities

1. Lead member engagement initiatives to improve satisfaction scores.
2. Manage and motivate the fitness team, embodying our values.
3. Develop and oversee the Group Exercise timetable and team upskilling.
4. Drive gym performance and operational standards.
5. Ensure compliance with health & safety policies and manage site checks.
6. Assist with admin duties such as rotas and security checks.
7. Act as a keyholder and emergency contact.
8. Optionally, manage personal training sessions, retaining 100% of your earnings with no license fee.

Ideal Candidate

• Passionate about health, fitness, and wellbeing.
• Experienced in leading teams and delivering excellent member experiences.
• Committed to understanding and exceeding member expectations.
• Qualified as a Level 2 Fitness Instructor or studying towards it.
