What You Need To Know About The Role...

As a Fitness Manager with The Gym Group, you will support the General Manager in running the gym successfully and will deputise in their absence. You will be passionate about fitness and keen to embrace our members and our teams, embedding our culture. You will embody our company values, supporting and encouraging others to do the same.

Your core duties will include (but are not limited to):

1. Responsibility for member engagement by leading our in-gym service offering to drive satisfaction scores.
2. Line management and leadership of our team of fitness trainers, engaging and motivating them to be their best every day, role-modeling our values.
3. Taking ownership of our Group Exercise offering by developing the class timetable and upskilling the team.
4. Driving the commercial performance of the gym with a results-driven mindset.
5. Ensuring high operational standards through effective management of cleaning and maintenance, liaising with third-party suppliers.
6. Ensuring full compliance with health & safety policies and completing regular checks.
7. Supporting the GM with admin tasks such as rotas, time tracking, and security checks.
8. Acting as a keyholder for emergencies.
9. You can PT in the gym around your hours, managing your own time and business, and retaining 100% of your earnings with no annual license fee.

• Have a proven success record and a winning attitude.
• Are a Level 2 qualified Fitness Instructor or studying for it.
