Role: Fitness Manager (Flex contracts available)

Reporting to: General Manager

Location: Colchester

We are seeking a Fitness Manager to support the General Manager in running the gym and to deputise in their absence. You should be passionate about fitness, embody our values, and support our team and members.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading member engagement and driving satisfaction scores
• Managing and motivating the fitness team
• Developing group exercise offerings and upskilling staff
• Driving commercial performance
• Maintaining operational standards and liaising with suppliers
• Ensuring health & safety compliance
• Supporting admin tasks such as rotas and security
• Acting as a keyholder and emergency contact
• Opportunity to PT in the gym with full earnings, no license fee

Ideal candidate:

• Passionate about health and fitness
• Experienced in leading teams and delivering excellent service
• Committed to understanding and exceeding member expectations
• Able to operate within compliance standards
• Proven success in similar roles
• Level 2 qualified Fitness Instructor or studying towards it
