The role involves delivering physical training, managing training sessions, and ensuring equipment maintenance. Qualifications

  • Mandatory MOD Training for CS / Contractors required.
  • Spinning Instructor and NPLQ qualifications are essential.
  • Experience with manual handling and risk assessment is desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver first-class physical training sessions ensuring safety standards.
  • Assist with admin tasks for RAFFT, including data input and statistics.
  • Provide lifeguard services and conduct sports classes as needed.

Job description

MPI are currently recruiting for a Fitness Instructor in the School of Physical Training, for our client based at Cosford. This is an ongoing contract as per customer requirements and will be reviewed annually.

The post will be 37 hours per week and the rate of pay is £27.50 per hour PAYE.

Job Description

Delivery of first-class physical training to permanent staff (PS) & WF demographics at RAF Cosford:

  • Facilitate the best possible physical training sessions for PS ensuring they meet the required fitness and safety standards.
  • Deliver in-service training to all members of the PEd formal training squadron.
  • Assist with administration for the RAFFT. Input data on JPA and TPPS. Create statistical data for both trainee and permanent staff station population.
  • Complete out of hours duties providing lifeguard services, extra physical training and sports classes for all station personnel.
  • Routine maintenance of all SofPT facilities and equipment.
  • Ensure all AOR are maintained.

Support School Quality objectives as directed by management
