Qualifications

  • Must have a minimum CIMSPA Affiliate/Reps Level 2 qualification.
  • Support for achieving CIMSPA Practitioner/Reps Level 3 available.
  • Ability to provide Personal Training sessions and maintain safety standards.

Overview

We have an exciting new opportunity for a Fitness Instructor at Places Leisure, where you will work in a fun, lively environment with like-minded people. You will inspire others to work together and deliver their best, providing suitable health and fitness advice tailored to each customer’s goals.

There are opportunities for career development within Places Leisure, including Personal Training, growth into a Fitness Manager role, and ongoing training and CIMSPA/ REPS qualification support.

Responsibilities
  • Always put the customer’s needs at the forefront and build personable, meaningful relationships.
  • Maintain ongoing personal development by staying informed about industry trends and best practices.
  • Carry out initial inductions and ensure customers use equipment safely and correctly.
  • Work with customers of all abilities, set and monitor appropriate programmes, and support their fitness journeys.
  • Provide Personal Training sessions as an additional service and be prepared to take on new PT clients through face-to-face interactions and basic marketing tools.
  • Collaborate with the team to keep facilities clean and safe, adhering to regulations and company procedures; maintain high standards in all duties.
Qualifications
  • Minimum CIMSPA Affiliate/Reps Level 2 is required.
  • Ideal to hold CIMSPA Practitioner/Reps Level 3; we will support motivated individuals in achieving this qualification through our learning opportunities.
