Fitness Coach - Permanent - Canning Town, E14

Hours: 16 per week, between 07:45am - 21:45pm Saturday & Sunday (Shift times either 07:45am- 16:45pm or 12:45pm - 21:45pm)

Your new responsibilities:

  • Support the Health Club Manager and Estate Management Team with operational aspects of the leisure facility.
  • Deliver high-quality customer care to residents and guests.
  • Teach exercise classes to residents/guests.
  • Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure the safety of the fitness facilities.
  • Conduct health and safety checks, including pool testing and surveillance.
  • Work as part of the team, greeting residents/guests, maintaining environment and equipment standards.
  • Personal train clients when required.
  • Respond to emergencies in the Leisure facility.
  • Familiarize with services offered and serve as a customer service liaison.
  • Stock, clean, and organize fitness areas and equipment.
  • Identify opportunities to promote or sell PT, wellness, or exercise classes.
  • Cover reception duties when needed.

Requirements to succeed:

  • Recognized fitness qualification (Personal Trainer Level 3 or above).
  • Ability to build strong client relationships.
  • Passionate, lively, approachable, and charismatic.
  • Good team player.
  • Offer constructive advice.
  • Knowledge of health & safety standards.
  • Experience in face-to-face customer service.
  • Experience in delivering fitness classes.
