Location of work: Royal Wharf - Silvertown (E16 5BG).
Hours of work: 40 hours per week, 5 shifts across Monday to Sunday.
Responsibilities:
- Support the Health Club Manager with operational aspects of the leisure facility.
- Promote leisure services to members and monitor their progress.
- Deliver exceptional customer care to residents and guests.
- Greet and interact with residents/guests, maintain environment and equipment to high standards.
- Teach at least one exercise class per shift, with additional classes as needed.
- Provide professional service, ensuring safety, cleanliness, and enjoyment within the leisure facility.
- Train residents/guests in personal training when required.
- Respond professionally to questions, concerns, and complaints, referring to management when necessary.
- Familiarize with all services offered and act as a customer service liaison.
- Assist in resident/guest retention and growth through friendly interactions.
- Communicate regularly with the HCM and suggest operational improvements.
- Maintain a friendly, helpful, and courteous attitude at all times.
- Ensure compliance with health & safety legislation and complete procedural documentation promptly.
- Stock, clean, and organize fitness areas and equipment.
- Monitor sound levels to prevent disruption during workouts.
- Proactively assist residents/guests and notify management before taking breaks.
- Remain on shift until appropriate cover is arranged if your shift ends without replacement.
- Maintain communication logs and keep notice boards updated.
- Attend departmental and staff meetings.
- Recognize opportunities to promote additional services like PT, classes, or master classes.
- Pursue ongoing education and training.
- Complete assigned tasks from management.
- Request time off through the HCM.
- Represent the leisure facility professionally and maintain a neat appearance in uniform.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
- Cover reception duties as required and assist with special events or other duties as assigned.
- Work across different resort leisure facilities if needed.
- Foster a positive, proactive team culture.

- Proven ability to build strong client relationships.

- Good knowledge of health & safety regulations.
- Experience in face-to-face customer service.
- Experience in delivering fitness classes.
- Recognized Level 3 Personal Trainer qualification or higher.
