Job summary

JD Gyms in Cumbernauld is seeking a friendly Fitness Coach to welcome members, lead gym inductions, and deliver engaging group classes. You will help create a positive experience and uphold brand standards on every visit.

You will tour prospective members, assist with joining, perform club standards checks, keep the facilities clean and safe, and contribute to energy and waste initiatives while analyzing data to support improvements.

Qualifications

• Level 3 (EQF Level 4) Personal Trainer qualification is required.
• Experience delivering group exercise classes is a plus.
• Strong communication and customer service skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Place member experience at the heart of everything you do by engaging with members on the gym floor.
• Deliver welcoming and engaging tours for prospective members.
• Lead engaging group exercise classes and member inductions.
• Support prospective members with joining and onboarding.
• Maintain club standards and safety, ensuring cleanliness and regulatory compliance.
• Monitor service delivery and contribute to improvements via data analysis.

Through member engagement, gym inductions, group exercise classes and maintaining high club standards, you will help deliver an exceptional member experience. Responsibilities:• Places member experience at the heart of everything you do by constantly engaging with members on the gym floor.• Deliver welcoming and engaging prospective member tours in the club, in line with JD Gyms brand standards.• Deliver engaging and inclusive group exercise classes.• Deliver engaging and informative member inductions.• Support prospective members with joining JD Gyms as required.• Conduct club standards checks across the club, ensuring results are recorded accurately and in line with JD Gyms record keeping procedures.• Provide ad hoc support to members as required or observed• Ensure that club cleanliness standards are maintained to the highest level as set out by the Gym Management and Operations team.• Maintain excellent brand standards at all times, ensuring the club is safe and compliant with all health and safety action points.• Monitor our service delivery through our performance and member feedback.• Work safely and in accordance with company policies, procedures and relevant legislation at all times.• Support energy efficiency, environmental initiatives and responsible waste management practices across the club.• Analysis and presentation of key data to support new ideas / initiatives / proposed developments.
