Job description

Job Title: Fitness Class Instructor

Hours of Work: Casual "as & when required" hours per week

Rate of Pay: £16.56 per hour

We are seeking an experienced, energetic, and enthusiastic Fitness Class Instructor to join our dedicated team at Your Space Worksop. The role involves offering diverse fitness classes, delivering excellent guest service, and promoting our services and facilities. Candidates should have experience in a similar role and hold a nationally recognized qualification in health & fitness. Most importantly, you should be passionate about health & fitness, eager to develop your skills and career, and ready to contribute to our growing company.

Responsibilities:

1. Maintain and renew all necessary qualifications for the role, including fitness industry certifications.
2. Engage in personal development to stay updated with the latest fitness trends.
3. Supervise all class activities and operate equipment safely.
4. Participate in staff training sessions as deemed appropriate by management.
5. Provide exceptional service to customers, exceeding expectations.
6. Maintain a good working knowledge of fitness topics to offer professional advice.
7. Inform new customers about class structures, levels, and intensities.
8. Setup and de-rig equipment, ensuring secure storage after sessions.
9. Undertake basic maintenance of class equipment and report major faults to management.

Additional duties as assigned by management, within the scope of the role.
