Overview

The Grove Health and Fitness team in East Devon is seeking a Fitness & Wellbeing Coach. This community-focused organisation aims to support wellbeing and improve lives through its services.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the Fitness & Wellbeing Lead in maintaining a safe, effective environment in the Health and Fitness Studio.
  • Conduct individual fitness assessments, deliver training programmes, and offer advice related to exercise, nutrition, and injury prevention.
  • Respond to customer queries, solve problems, and promote a welcoming atmosphere for members.
  • Contribute to developing new health and fitness initiatives based on community needs.
  • Participate in marketing activities, deliver tours to prospective members, and assist in acquiring new memberships.
  • Support member retention through tools such as TRP and Journey Trackers, maintain gym equipment, and adhere to health and safety standards.
  • Support instructor development through Pro Zone training, and, if qualified, may instruct group exercise classes.
