Job summary

Compassion in World Farming International is seeking an Engagement and Insights Manager (Fish - Food Business) to lead a flagship Fish Welfare Survey across European seafood supply chains. You will shape methodology, benchmark progress and present actionable insights to retailers and industry stakeholders.

You will collaborate across Food Business, Research, Policy, Campaigns and Communications to drive higher-welfare policies and practices, managing timelines, budgets and supplier relationships

Qualifications

• Account or relationship management experience in retail with strong customer service skills.
• Knowledge or experience in aquatic animal welfare and production.
• Strong project management delivering complex workstreams on time and within budget.
• Ability to translate statistical data into clear messages and practical recommendations.
• Business-level fluency in French and English, with independent and collaborative work capability.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with stakeholder influence and diplomacy.
• Advanced degree or equivalent in aquatic animal welfare, animal production, business or economics.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Fish Welfare Survey: shape methodology, benchmarking, platform and reporting.
• Build influential partnerships with UK, French and European retailers; develop tailored improvement plans.
• Turn evidence into action: oversee data collection, validation, analysis and reporting.
• Bring insights to life: present findings through retailer meetings, reports and workshops.
• Deliver with impact: manage plans, timelines, budgets, procurement and supplier relationships.
