First Time General Manager - Stunning Newly Refurbished Pub - London - up to £45,000

A fantastic establishment situated in Kennington is actively seeking a new and dynamic Assistant General Manager to join their exceptional team and become a GM. This includes managing the restaurant, bustling bar and amazing team in place.

You will be reporting directly to the Owner and training to become a first time General Manager.

This is a family-run business going for the last 30 years. Expect nothing less than the epitome of high-end luxury! The ideal candidates should possess extensive experience in a large-scale hospitality setting, where service excellence is paramount.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the team in a quality pub environment (chefs de rang, sommeliers, waiters).
  • Demonstrate excellent presentation and communication skills; deliver outstanding service standards with a charismatic approach to service.
  • Directly oversee the restaurant, bar operations, and hotel-like service standards as part of a first-time General Manager path.
  • Work with your team to ensure smooth daily operations and high service quality.
The Ideal Candidate
  • Great knowledge of restaurant management and pubs.
  • Able to run the day-to-day operation and be in charge.
  • Good communicator and organised personality to ensure efficient and smooth service.
  • Be a good leader, drive, motivate and lead the team to push the operation to the next step.
  • Ability to take independent decisions; you’ll be a go-getter.
