Job summary

Allegiance Industries seeks a 1st shift General Cleaner for a manufacturing facility in Newburgh. The role runs Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Responsibilities include cleaning surfaces, emptying trash, restroom sanitation, and light maintenance tasks with opportunities for floor care such as waxing and buffing.

The candidate should be physically fit, able to detect safety hazards, and demonstrate reliability and professionalism. Transportation to site is required.

Responsibilities

• Clean buildings by sweeping, vacuuming, mopping floors and cleaning other surfaces.
• Gather and empty trash from all areas.
• Supply, clean and service restrooms.
• Mix cleaning agents according to specifications.
• Move heavy equipment, objects or furniture as needed.
• Identify and report possible repairs to supervisors.
• Potential floor work like steam cleaning carpets, applying wax, buffing.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
