We are recruiting for First Response Technicians to join us at our Severnside Dairy

We are currently recruiting for a First Response Technician within the PLFM & Ingredients department at Muller Severnside to provide quick response and technical support to optimise value creation, working within Muller values and standards while striving to continuously improve.

Contract: Full Time / Perm

Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off Days and Nights (7am-7pm/7pm-7am)

Location: Severnside

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:

  • High-level problem-solving capability and facilitation skills
  • Recognition that value creation is level 1 - First line support; primary purpose is to support front-line teams
  • Coaching front-line team members, enabling them to solve problems
  • Using PDCA techniques to follow problems through to 100% fix in real-time
  • Working closely as ONE TEAM with Rapid Response Engineers
  • Visiting workstations to identify issues when called upon
  • Maintenance excellence / Asset care
  • Working on active OE projects continuously
  • Looking for waste in all activities
  • Seeking out improvement opportunities and converting them into OE projects
  • Owning and delivering OE initiatives and being recognized for them
  • Improving work processes proactively
  • Collaborating with team members to enhance business performance
  • Demonstrating OE contributions through PDP process
  • Understanding how current performance impacts the bottom line
  • Ensuring health and safety of self and others
  • Providing on-the-job training to new colleagues

Requirements:

  • Previous food manufacturing experience
  • Technical acumen / qualification
