Job Description

We are recruiting for First Response Technicians to join us at our Severnside Dairy.

We are currently hiring a First Response Technician within the PLFM & Ingredients department at Müller Severnside. The role involves providing quick response and technical support to optimize value creation, working in alignment with Müller values and standards, while striving for continuous improvement.

Contract: Full Time / Permanent

Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off Days and Nights (7am-7pm/7pm-7am)

Location: Severnside

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • High-level problem-solving capability and facilitation skills
  • Supporting front line teams as primary support (Level 1 value creation)
  • Coaching front line team members to solve problems
  • Applying PDCA techniques to resolve issues and implement 100% fixes in real-time
  • Working closely with Rapid Response Engineers as ONE TEAM
  • Visiting workstations to identify and resolve issues immediately
  • Maintaining maintenance excellence and asset care
Müller Responsibilities
  • Engaging in active OE projects continuously
  • Identifying waste and improvement opportunities and leading OE projects
  • Owning and delivering OE initiatives and being recognized for these efforts
  • Seeking opportunities to improve work processes
  • Collaborating with team members to enhance business performance
  • Demonstrating OE contributions through PDP processes
  • Understanding how current performance impacts the bottom line
  • Ensuring health and safety for oneself and others
  • Providing on-the-job training to new colleagues
Key Skills & Experience
  • Previous experience in food manufacturing
