Shift patterns: Monday to Friday - may include some Saturdays (depending on operational needs)

What You'll Do

1. Ensure the safe, legal, and efficient execution of transport operations during your shift to meet network SLA's/KPI's.
2. Review and amend daily plans as necessary.
3. Collect feedback against the plan for use in daily operational reviews.
4. Manage and resolve daily operational issues relating to transport and local warehouses.
5. Conduct full and effective daily briefings and debriefings for drivers, including agency and subcontractor drivers.
6. Ensure drivers' legal compliance during shifts according to DHL standards.
7. Ensure all drivers are trained and familiar with operations and equipment.
8. Perform pre-shift yard checks and manage defect processes.
9. Handle accidents and breakdowns following DHL SOPs.
10. Schedule and conduct quarterly 1-2-1 meetings with direct reports, in line with OMS guidelines.
11. Manage disciplinary and grievance procedures per company policies.
12. Lead daily transport operations to ensure timely and efficient deliveries.
13. Develop and implement strategies to improve transport efficiency.
14. Uphold safety standards and compliance regulations.
15. Develop and motivate your team to perform at their best.
16. Monitor performance metrics and identify areas for improvement.
