  • Knowledge of end-to-end warehouse processes and health & safety.
  • Desirable: IOSH certification.

We are looking for a Warehouse First Line Manager to lead a team of people and coordinate activities to achieve business goals through focussing on continuous improvement and promoting a team-based culture.

This role is located at one of our biggest online fashion retailers’ sites in Crick. You will be working Sunday to Thursday with the hours of 23:00 till 07:00.

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £31,700 per annum and 33 days annual leave (inclusive bank holidays). What you’ll do on a typical day:

  • Monitor progress and performance against Key Performance Indicators and costs against budget
  • Create and maintain a positive team culture and spirit, encouraging involvement from all team members when sharing group, divisional and team information
  • Manage the allocation of work on a day-to-day basis ensuring cost, quality and delivery targets are met
  • Promote flexibility through skills training and personal development

What you need to succeed at GXO:

  • Experience of working in a complex, fast-moving logistics/warehouse environment, ideally within eCommerce
  • The ability to work on your own initiative, whilst effectively leading a team
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Knowledge of the end-to-end warehouse processes, health and safety and IOSH is highly desirable
