Job summary

A healthcare organization in the East Midlands is seeking experienced Band 6 or early Band 7 Physiotherapists to deliver Primary Care MSK services in Derby. As a First Contact Physiotherapist, you will be the initial clinical point of contact for patients. The ideal candidate will have advanced clinical practice skills, HCPC and CSP registration, and good communication abilities. Job description

We are looking for experienced, ambitious and independent minded Band 6 or early Band 7 Physiotherapists to join our team of First Contact Physiotherapists (FCPs) delivering Primary Care MSK services in the Derby area.

Working in a local GP setting, as an FCP you will be the first point of clinical contact for patients presenting with MSK conditions or symptoms.

You will be responsible for a diverse caseload, provide primary assessment, diagnosis and management options, and support patients to gain a better understanding of their problems and treatment pathway.

Successful Candidates Will Have:

  • Advanced clinical practice skills
  • The ability to self-manage
  • Good communication, organisational and time management skills
  • Good IT skills
  • HCPC and CSP registration
  • Post-graduate/Masters level qualifications – desirable but not essential
