Role Profile:
First Contact Physiotherapists (FCP) are autonomous clinicians working in GP practices, capable of assessing, diagnosing, treating, and managing musculoskeletal problems and undifferentiated conditions, and discharging patients without medical referral when appropriate. They can be accessed directly by self-referral or via GP staff to facilitate rapid diagnosis and management.
