Job summary

Pure Physio is seeking a First Contact Physiotherapist to join our GP practice-based MSK service in Leeds. The role is 28 hours per week on a permanent basis, with a salary between £42,000 and £49,000 depending on experience.

You will work autonomously at the first point of contact, assess MSK conditions, advise on management, and determine referrals or investigations.

We value high-quality community care and collaboration with Primary Care Networks to improve patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Qualified physiotherapist with valid registration.
• Minimum 5 years post-qualification experience.
• Advanced MSK training aligned with the national FCP/Advanced Practice Roadmap.
• Ability to work autonomously in GP practices.

Responsibilities

• Assess and diagnose MSK conditions at first contact.
• Provide advice on pain management, mobility and recovery.
• Order investigations when appropriate.
• Reduce GP workload by managing MSK cases directly.
• Support pathways in primary care networks.
