Structural Graduate MEng Engineer - 1st or 2:1 achieved. Permanent role based in Newcastle. Salary £26,000 - £30,000.

This medium sized structural consultancy with a broad spread of projects is seeking a structural graduate design engineer who is starting their career in the industry. The practice works on large scale developments across the UK and you will join a team of engineers and technicians to work on projects from £30m to £130m. They undertake refurbishment and new build projects, employ the latest design technology and are renowned for their developmental approach to BIM within the construction process.

Responsibilities

• Join a team of engineers and technicians to work on projects from £30m to £130m.
• Contribute to refurbishment and new build projects using the latest design technology and BIM practices.
• Assist with delivery and collaboration across project teams within a UK-wide portfolio.
• Support CPD training and progress toward chartership with the relevant institutes.
• Engage with the firm’s development and social activities as part of the team.

Qualifications

• Appropriate MEng or MSc degree.
• Strong academic background (likely 1st class honours and strong A Level results).
• Demonstrable passion for building structures and design throughout academic studies.
